Practice That Helps You Learn from Mistakes
The quizzes are built for more than memorizing one correct answer. They help you practise close answer choices, important distinctions, short situations, and CCA judgment.
- Every question includes an explanation of why the correct response fits.
- Each wrong answer choice is explained separately.
- Depending on the bank size, an attempt may use every question or a selection from a larger question bank.
- You are encouraged to review missed questions, correct guesses, and answers that felt uncertain.
- An 80% score is a personal study target for this website, not an official exam passing score.

Exam Format at a Glance
The official Nova Scotia CCA Certification Exam currently contains 150 multiple-choice questions with one best answer. Students have up to two hours to complete it.
Questions may test facts, terminology, anatomy, situations, or procedures. Practice on this site uses short, direct questions and progressively harder answer choices to help the format feel familiar.
Exam rules and registration details sometimes change. Check the official Nova Scotia CCA Program exam page for current information.
